Stampin' Up "Harvest Blessings" Card with 'Country Home" Stamp Set
Today I'm continuing with autumn-themed cards with the "Come to Gather" DSP from the 2019 Holiday catalog while adding the "Country Home" photopolymer stamp set from the Stampin' Up 2019-2020 Annual Catalog.
The card design (from a sketch I've used before), came together quickly, so I was able to spend more time coloring the image as I binged TV episodes on Amazon Prime's Britbox Channel. (In case you are interested, I was watching the BBC series, The Coroner, which I can certainly recommend!)

How to make this card:
- Cut Very Vanilla cardstock, one 3-7/8" x 5-1/8"(for image), one approximately 3"x 5"(for die-cutting), one 7/8"x 2-7/8"(for sentiment) and one standard card base.
- Cut Pretty Peacock cardstock, one 4"x 5-1/4", one 1"x 3" and one approximately 3-1/2"x 5-1/2" (for die-cutting).
- Cut 2 pieces of Mint Macaron cardstock, 1-5/8"x 4-1/8" each.
- Cut 2 pieces of the Gathered "Come to Gather" Designer Series Paper, 1-1/2"x 4" each.
- Cut a matching ribbon of your choice, approximately 8".
- Using the largest Stitched Nested Label die, cut the Pretty Peacock cardstock.
- Using the second largest Stitched Nested Label die, cut the Very Vanilla cardstock.
- Stamp the sentiment on the small piece of Very Vanilla cardstock with Soft Suede ink.
- Two-step stamp the container and flowers on the die-cut Very Vanilla cardstock with Soft Suede ink and color with matching watercolor pencils.
- When coloring is complete, use the Blender Pen to carefully blend coloring. (TIP: blend one color on the image at a time, and wipe the tip on a paper towel before starting another color.)
- Assemble the layers as shown: Pretty Peacock on the card base with Very Vanilla on top, Designer Series Paper on Mint Macaron, sentiment and image on Pretty Peacock cardstock.
- Assemble the layers as shown with adhesive. (TIP: after assembling bottom layers, lay down the ribbon in the middle of the Very Vanilla and use a couple small glue dots it in a couple spots to keep it from moving. Adhere the Mint Macaron layers on top, then tie the ribbon.)
- Use Stampin' Up Dimensionals for the image layer and adhere the sentiment to the bottom of the image layer.
