Stampin' Up "So Thankful" Card with "Beauty & Joy" Stamp Set

This last week, I spent some time making cards with a fall theme that is appropriate for Friendship, saying Thank You, or autumn birthdays.

My first card used the "Beauty & Joy" stamp set:

How to make this card: 

1. Cut Whisper White card stock, one 2-3/4" x 3-3/4" and one card base;
2. Cut Early Expresso card stock, one 2-7/8"x 3-7/8" and one 4' x 5-1/4";
3. Cut the Designer Series Paper, 3-7/8 x 5-1/8";
4. Cut matching twine of your choice, approximately 8",
5. Stamp the sentiment on Whisper White with Early Expresso ink; 
6. Punch the sentiment  and a piece of Early Expresso card stock with the Classic Labels Punch;
7. Stamp the planter in Crumb Cake, the trunk with Early Expresso on the small piece of Whisper White cardstock;
8. Make the leaves by first stamping Daffodil Delight ink (off-stamp first) and then layer Cajun Craze ink (off-stamp first) to make the light rusty color.
9. Assemble the layers as shown: tie twine around top stamped layer and use Dimensionals to attach, off-set the Early Expresso label behind the sentiment, attaching to the card layer.  

Use this card to send a note to a friend, thanking them for their friendship, or to a teacher with a note of appreciation!
