Ballad of Friendship with Stampin' Up
The new In-Colors for 2019-2021 are also right on-trend. I always order the Cardstock pack (#149701) Stampin' Write Markers (150079), and Stampin' Pads (#150087). This year a 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper pack was available, with 40 sheets, 4 each of 2 double-sided designs in five colors (#149617):
From the catalog, the first suite that caught my eye is the Bird Ballad Suite on page 91. One thing that I have learned -- I won't miss any needed cardstock or embellishments if I order an entire suite I really like. All the suites are coordinated with what you need to make many cards and projects.
Now in the Stampin' Up catalog, you can order all the things in a suite for one price, instead of ordering everything separately!
Included in the Bird Ballad Suite (#152190): Free as a Bird stamp set, Stitched Nested Labels dies, Bird Ballad DSP, Bird Ballad Laser-Cut Cards & Tin, 3/8" Scalloped Lace Trim, and the Bird Ballad Trinkets.
I couldn't wait to get started!
For these cards, I used Mint Macaron card stock for the card base, and Pool Party cardstock to layer with the Bird Ballad DSP. The Stitched Nested dies were layered for the sentiment. (I will use these dies a lot!)
I had these canvas tags in my stash for a long time, and thought they would work perfectly with this patterned paper!
The Pool Party ribbon is from my stash, along with the pearl embellishments.
Linen thread was used on this tag and behind the sentiment, with smaller pearl embellishments.
To order the items I used for these cards separately from the Suite, use their separate order numbers:
Free as a Bird (#149468), Bird Ballad DSP (#149592). and Stitched Nested Labels Dies (#149638).
Like these cards? Pin now to make later!
