Today's layout was inspired by Pinterest.  I have more ideas pinned than I will ever be able to complete in this lifetime, how about you?

I selected this layout to scraplift because it is simple, clean, and classic.

The photos were from a Star Party we attended, sponsored by the local library. Volunteers from the Austin Astronomical Society brought their phenomenal telescopes and graciously shared with the kids (and adults) the features of the night sky.

Society volunteers pointed out Venus rising as we waited for it to get dark, but the real show happened close to 9:00 PM.  Through their telescopes, we observed Jupiter, along with four of its moons (we could even see patterns on the planet surface!), Mars, (not as impressive, but we could tell it was red) and the "star" of the evening - Saturn! Being able to see the visible rings on this glowing planet was really a treat.

On the finished layout, I added the Bible reference Job 9:9.  Thousands of years ago, Job was a stargazer who was just as impressed with the night sky, and obviously had a course in Astronomy.

He {God} is the Maker of the Bear and Orion,
the Pleiades and the constellations of the south.

God's universe is all the more majestic seeing it with today's technology!

Here is the video of the scrapbook process for this layout.  You will see a special visitor pop into my craft studio as I was doing the video:

The products I used were:

Heidi Swapp - "September Skies" paper pad
Thickers - "Cinnamon"
Amy Tangerine Remarks - "Good Stuff" sticker pad

If you liked this sketch and decided to scraplift it too, please post a link of your project in the comments below so that I and others can see your work!
