Teen Gift Idea With a Punny Card

There are no cards to buy in the store for someone who had their wisdom teeth pulled.

My youngest son's friend just had all four of his wisdom teeth pulled, and he is feeling a little miserable, to say the least.  We wanted to do something fun for him while he recovered, and it was up to me to find an appropriate card.

Cricut to the rescue!

In Cricut Design Space, I found a tooth and altered it by removing the eyelashes that were on the original clip art. There were google eyes already in my stash.  However, the card should have a funny saying, something punny.

Then I had an idea.

I purchased these extra-large pudding cups to go with the card. Because who wants to chew right after having their wisdom teeth pulled?

Now that I had the gift, I could come up with a punny saying:

I never said I was good with punny sayings. I'm not the comedian in our family.

The inside of the card simply said: 

The writing feature on the Cricut Explore Air 2 is going to really come in handy for future cards.

And now you have an idea for that someone you know who is having their wisdom teeth pulled. Done.
