Scrapbook Layout Process in Less than 90 Seconds: Shoreline by American Craft
It's been some time since I have been able to sit down and get some scrapbooking done, but this past weekend I printed some photos and got this double page layout completed.
This layout tells about a trip my hubby and I made to my hometown of St. Joseph, Michigan one year in early September. It was a short stop of a longer trip, but we had enough time to enjoy Silver Beach and see the lighthouse before setting off to our final destination.
The coolest part of this stop: We kept seeing monarch butterflies everywhere on the beach. Now I would haven't know the significance of this if it had not been that both my boys learned about the monarch migration in Kindergarten. The monarch migration begins from Canada and the northern United States, travels through Texas, and ends in Mexico each year. Here in Texas, we see the monarchs in November, and depending on their travel path, there are hundreds of them! On the beach, we realized we were seeing the beginning of the migration!
The paper collection I used was "Shoreline" from American Crafts. It's an oldie, from 2012, but its design works well for Michigan beach photos.
The following is a video of the layout process, super-fast, less than 90 seconds. Because who has time to watch long process videos anymore?
